First Aid Training for members

First Aid Training session - run by the Resuscitation team from Kingston Hospital.

Free of charge for members. Limited spaces available. This course is for adult members only.

The session will take place on Thursday 6th March 7.00-9.30pm.

The trainer will plan to cover the following, depending on time:

  • Adult CPR including use of defibrillator

  • Paediatric CPR

  • Anaphylaxis

  • Acute management of stroke 

  • Acute management of diabetes

  • Emergency management of an asthma attack

Please note that those attending will receive a certificate in Basic Life Support and Safe Use of an Automated External Defibrillator. The other scenarios are not included in the qualification but the trainer will attempt to cover as much as he can.

This session is being paid for by the Club for the benefit of members.
